Tho Gills Sewing club was to meet with their teacher, Miss Delia Cottrell, as part of extension work inaugurated by the B. A. C. The members of the club were Alice Fra-zell, Fra-zell, Margaret Brooks, Marel Rogers, Mildred Fotheringham, Alica Wy-naught, Wy-naught, Gertrude Baxter, Reta At-kin, At-kin, Mary Vincent, Helen Ward, Mautrine Hanks, Norma Burns and Lillian Stokw. Mrs. A. L. Fotheringham of Beaver had returned from a visit in Arizona and California and was visiting at the home of her son, Abe Fotheringham. Sh? had been accompanied accom-panied home by her little grandson, Mark Jones, of Los Angeles. Several carloads of Milfordites had been to Frisco to attend a dance 5 . at the Cactus club, for which the j i.iusic was furnished by the Milford I orchestra. I . Peter V.'eidnei', proprietor of the j Milford Shoe and Harness Repair shop, had been in Salt Lake, where he had purcased stock for his ever-increasing ever-increasing business. Mrs. G. C. Cuddy and Mrs. A. E. Smith were visiting in Millard county coun-ty with relatives and friends for a few weeks. Misses Alta Edwards (now visit-zing visit-zing here as Mrs. Harry L. Van Quill of Murray) and Lou Poulton had J gone to Salt Lake for a few days j visit. Wolter Muir was remodeling and building an addition to a house he owned on North McKeon street, a-cross a-cross from his own residence. Harold Cline, who had been attending attend-ing school in Salt Lake, had returned home to spend his vacation with his parents. Les Cline, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Cline, had returned to Salt Lake after af-ter a years service in the army. He had been in the quartermasters department de-partment at Langley field, Hampton, Virginia. |
