Show BASIN BRIEFS Horace Allred returned during dur-ing the week from a meeting of water users, held in Denver. He reports that a Uintah Basin water users organization is being be-ing planned to push the Central Cen-tral Utah project. Mrs. Paul R. Ward and children chil-dren returned Tuesday to their home in Berthoud, Colo., after a two-week visit in Myton with her parents, Mr.- and Mrs. Senor Mortensen. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Woodward, Wood-ward, of Ogden, former Roosevelt Roos-evelt residents, are the parents of a baby girl, born Feb. 14 at an Ogden hospital. Ray Johnston, son of Mrs. N. K. Johnston, has returned home after being1 released from the Army Air Force, stationed in Alaska. Arvil and Victor Woodward of Kaysville, were weekend guests at the Elmer Richman residence. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Harri-son spent 2l few days in Salt Lake this week. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Allen visited vis-ited last week in Elko, Nev., with Mr. and Mrs. John Mohl-man Mohl-man and family. Mrs. Mohlman is convalescing from a minor operation performed recently at the Elko hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cook, of Price spent Sunday with the Johnnie J. Cooks, bringing1 with them Carolyn Lynn Cook, who has been their guest for the past days. Carol Lynn also visited in Helper. , Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sprouse and Don attended funeral services ser-vices at Price last Thursday for Mrs-. Sprouse's mother. Kent Nelson, B.Y.U. spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nelson. Also Al-so hpme for the weekend was Bob Benson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mure! Benson. Mrs. Leon Galloway and Buster Bus-ter Peters, son of Mrs. Roaka G. Peters, left Friday for Portland, Port-land, Oregon where they will visit Mrs. Galloway's son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. D. L- Gateway. Ardell Galloway Gallo-way will fly to Portland, March 18, and will drive home with his mother in the car presented her ps a Christmas present. Buster Bus-ter will remain in Pprtland to attend school, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman and daughter, Provo, spent the weekend as guests of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rich-man, Rich-man, Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich, Bluebell. Blue-bell. Little Carol Kay Felter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Felter, celebrated her 5th birthday anniversary with a party at the family residence, Tuesday afternoon. Celebrating with Carol Kay were Bert and Stewart Dennis, Jack and Stacy Luke, Jackie and Beverly Neilson, Keith Ivory, Iv-ory, Joan Hoover, Gary Had-den, Had-den, and Karla Ann Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Felter were hosts at a Canasta party at their home Saturday eve ning. Their guests included Mr. and Mrs. James Paxman, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hadden, Mrs. Ray Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Paxman, Mrs. Anna Roberts and Don Roberts. ' Mrs. Eva Ellis has gone to Farmington to spend a week I with her sister, Mrs. Florence ' Burnham. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Anderton 1 left Tuesday for Salt Lake City, where they boarded a plane for Flint, Michigan. The Andertons will visit friends and relatives in Michigan and Kansas before returning home with a new Buick, which they will purchase in Michigan.' Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson were dinner guests, Sunday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thom-as Halen. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Bellon, Mr and Mrs. Eldon Gardner, and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Moysh left Wednesday to attend the American Legion basketball tournament in St. George. Bill Nelson and daughter, were in Salt Lake City during the week to receive medical attention. at-tention. Mrs. Paul Wilkins left Tuesday Tues-day morning for Salt Lake City, to be with her son, Cal, who is ill with strep throat. |
