Show Local News Dr. F. O. Bullock, the Salina dentist, dent-ist, was here last Monday. He was looking after important business matters. Mrs. Miles Madsen and Infant son are visiting with Mrs. Madsen's mother, Mrs. Tom Brown, at Richfield. Rich-field. Harry B. Crandall, cashier of the Bank of Sevier at Salina, was a business visitor to Gunnison Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Storrs were visiting in Richfield Sunday, and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Art Storrs. Mrs. J. B. Jensen, the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Lavor Voorhees, for the past two weeks, left for home at Grace, Idaho, yesterday moring. Mrs. San-ford Anderson and three daughters returned Monday from a brief visit to Mayfield. They were the guests at the home of Mrs. M. A. Roaelund. Mr. and Mrs. h. Ltidvit,'sou lefl for Marysvale the first of the week They will lie absent a week or ten days, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. EJ, A. Porter were here from Salina last Sunday. Mr. Porter will shortly remove to Salt Lake City where he expec ts to take Up his residence. Miss YVilmelta Wright of Salina, and who has been the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Beck this week, has returned to her home at Salina. M. Hickman, general super intendent for the Telluride Power company, was here from Richfield last Sunday. He was conferring with Hugh Kearns, local manager for the company. J. W. Jones left tfor Salt Lake last Wednesday morning. He expects to return the latter part of the week, and he will be accompanied by Mrs. Jones and Robert Jones. Mrs. Jones has been at the city for three months or more. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Erickson are receiving the congratulations of their many friends over the arrival of a baby girl at their home. The baby-was baby-was born last week and she tipped the scales at ten pounds. All concerned con-cerned are doing nicely. Mrs. J. H. Salmon was hostess to the members of the Bonne Foi club at the home of Mrs. J. A. Hagan yesterday yes-terday afternoon. It was the first meeting held for some time, a recess being taken on account of the influenza influ-enza epidemic. A delightful time was had at needlecraft and enjoying enjoy-ing the reading by Mrs. Conrad Frischknecht. |
