Show AMERICA SEEKS FOREIGN TRADE Expansion on Large Scale Planned By Commerce Bureau Washington. Expansion (of foreign trade promotion work of the bureau of foreign and domestic commercs is contemplated oni an extensive scale in plans which are being worked exut on the basis of the Increased funds provided pro-vided in the appropriation bill as finally fin-ally approved hy both houses of congress, con-gress, Friday. The four entirely new divisions which will le established under the export industries fund are the follicvw-ing: follicvw-ing: First: A chemical division Including exports, specializing In dyes, drugs, heavy chemlcalo, paints and varnishes. Second: A division of specialists to take over work which Is now being handled to some extent by the chief of the electrical equipment division. Third : A division on foreign Investments Invest-ments nnd finance with experts specializing spec-ializing on these topics. Fourth: A division of export technique tech-nique devoted to advertising, packing and credit methods of exH;rlers. Commercial attache offices will b established for the first time at Stockholm, Stock-holm, where lit ere is none at present, and at Havana, where one has been assigned temporarily recently. The offices of the Imreau nt London, Paris nnd Berlin will he strengthened by the addition of trade cisiidssloners specializing In different cniran (Kilties. A new trade commissioner office will be established at Athens and possibly one at Alexandra.
