Show ESTHER JANE WORKMAN Funeral services were held today to-day at 11 a. m. at the Bluebell ; LDS chapel for Mrs. Esther Jane Workman, 83, who died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Leona Wilker-son, Wilker-son, of Holladay, following a lingering illness. Bishop Gardner Gard-ner Goodrich conducted the services. ser-vices. ! She was born Aug. 11, 1868 in Eagle Valley, Nev., a daughter daugh-ter of German and Barbara Elizabeth Eliz-abeth Buchanan. She was married mar-ried to Isaac Nathanial Workman, Work-man, Jan. 20, 1885. The marriage mar-riage later was solemnized in the Manti temple. She was active in the LDS Relief Society of Neola ward, and serving in the Sunday school, Primary, for many I years. She was a nitrse in the Uintah Basin for many years. Survivors are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Esther Wilkerson and Mrs. Josephine Elmer, both of Salt Lake City; . Mrs. Ada Burrows,, Hatch; Mrs. Barbara Wilkerson, Whiterocks; German B. Workman, Duchesne; Du-chesne; Hillery Workman, Bluebell; Blue-bell; Mrs. Edith Elder. Laun-dale, Laun-dale, Calif.; and Eugene Workman Work-man and Mrs. Leona Wilkerson, Holliday; 51 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren; and three great-gl'eat-grandfchildren. Burial was in the Cedarview cementry under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary,, of Roosevelt. |
