Show Seminary Gives Sunday Program The Roosevelt seminary presented pre-sented a program at Bridgeland Sacrament meeting Sunday. The program was under, the direction direc-tion of Principal Melvin Peterson, Peter-son, as follows: I Prayer, Glenda Neilsen: talks, Ruth Walter and Nelda Beal; double quartet by the following I Arcadia girls: Pauline Larsen, ; Elaine Bird, Inez Houtz. Ellen I Gilbert, Merlvn Ross. Marilyn Izirker, Mrs. Glen Snyder and ' Naomi Gilbert, accompanied by ' Arlf-ne Gilbert; talks, Tom 1 Rowley and Mr. Peterson. The closing song, "Teach Me To P-ay," was sung by Sherwood Sher-wood Lisonbee. with Hazel Walters Wal-ters as accompanist. Elaine Bird offered the closing prayer. ! Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walt-! Walt-! ers and daughter, Ruth, attend-' attend-' ed a Fireside meeting at the i Tom Gilbert home in Arcadia I Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Jennings and family visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Merl Jennings at Neola Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. ' Joe Merkley and their son-in-law, Frank Allen, Al-len, of Vernal, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady and girls and Mrs. Zeda Brady attended the Duchesne Alta-mont Alta-mont basketball game Saturday evening at AUamont. Vere Neilsen was . a Hebci' business visitor one day lasi week. Mr. and Mrs. Weston Bates and daughter Janet, of Strawberry Straw-berry were Monday callers at the Malcolm Walters home. Ruth Gail, Hazel Walters, Elva Lisonbee, Bishon Carl Van Tassell, Mr. and Mrs. Wells Wright attended a welfare meeting- at Duchesne Sunday. |
