Show Two More Enlist In Marine Corps Two more Duchesne county youths have enlisted in the United States Marine Corps through the Roosevelt recruiting recruit-ing station located in the Commercial Com-mercial club building, is an announcement made Tuesday by Sgt. R. E. Baker,, director of recruiting re-cruiting for the county. According to Sgt. Baker, the two 19-year-olds, who are already al-ready in San Diego receiving i their eight weeks recruit train-1 ing are Alfred E. Potter, son I of Charles W. Totter, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, who enlisted Jan. 18, and left the same day for San Diego; and Robert N. Jenks, son of Mrs. Sarah Jenks, of Ouray, Ou-ray, who joined up on Jan. 20, and also left that day for the California city. Jenks is an Indian In-dian youth. Both Potter and Jenks enlisted en-listed for a three-year period In the regular Marine corps. |
