Mrs. Clair Gardner, of Roosevelt Roos-evelt attended a quilting at the home of Mrs. Rose Gardner. Relief Society Tuesday was well attended. The lesson was a very interesting genealogy discussion given by Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Dye. 1 The farewell for Garth Gardner, Gard-ner, who was called on a mission mis-sion for the LDS church, had to be postponed. Garth has been called to serve his country instead. in-stead. Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. James O. Peter-ison Peter-ison that their grandson. Max Hutcheons, has enlisted in the Army and is stationed at Fort lOrd. j Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bur-'son Bur-'son and family, of Salt Lake, jhave moved into the Art Mitchell Mit-chell home. i The home of Mr. and M,rs. Pat Duncan was the scene of an evening of fun and gayety for a group of girls Wednesday evening'. Present were Othea Wamsley, Nita Harrison, Hat-tie Hat-tie Gardner, Helen Allred, Leah Gale Duncan and Janice Spencer. Spen-cer. The Primary officers, teachers teach-ers and their partners gave a farewell party Saturday night in honor of-Clara Gardner, who has moved to Roosevelt. They presented her with two books for her many years of service in the Primary. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Burton were greatly surprised Saturday evening when their Duncan rel-j rel-j atives gathered at the Jim I Rhodes home to wish them well i in their new home.
