Show atta?4 Ellen Bracken ! Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Antonio, !of Alubquerque, N. M., .were !the guests of Mr. and Mrs. An- jius Anderson recently. They came to attend funeral services for Mrs. Antonio's father. Glen Reed, who was killed in a car wreck on Jan. 14, near Vernal. Mrs. Jack Cook and Mrs. Fred Cook entertained a group of 24 guests at the home of Mrs. Fred Cook, Thursday evening, eve-ning, Jan. 18 A very enjoyable j time was had. Russel Todd, Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jenkins made a trip to Salt Lake City over the week-; week-; end. Due to the snow storm they ! had difficulty in getting to He-ber. He-ber. They did work at the LDS temple and attended a basketball basket-ball game Saturday evening, before be-fore returning' home. Jerry Perryman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olen Perryman, was confined to his home several days with an infected ear. Bishop L. Walker, of Lapoint, and Blaine Morrill, of Tridell, have been doing assessing in this vicinity. Mrs. Freda Davis, home demonstrator dem-onstrator for Uintah county, met with the Relief Society ladies la-dies Tuesday, Jan. 16. Mrs. Jessie Pickup and daughter were callers at the home of Mrs Pickup's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston on Saturday evening. j Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner accompanied Mr. and Mrs, Win-1 fred Long, of Bennett, to Vernal Ver-nal recently, where they visited vis-ited friends. Rev. Charles Ray left Sun-1 day, Jan. 14, for Phoenix. Ariz.,' to attend a convention for the Baptist church. |
