HELEN RICHARDS 5 A ' If PAUL POLLEI chesne. Duchesne High School Principal, Prin-cipal, J. Keith Rogers will announce an-nounce the program. This activity is open to the public without admission charge. The eight-piece Duchesne Band is the first to perform on this program. They will plav Sonata No. 3 by Johann Pezel;-"There Pezel;-"There Lived A King, " by Sir Arthur Sullivan. E. Allan Bates is the director. The Uintah High School Band, directed by John C. Weis, will play "King Cotton, " and "Bandology, " "Impressario ". The Uintah High School. dance band will play two numbers, also, to be announced. The Ashley Valley Junior High School will present two bands a cadet band of 58 members and a vasity band of 62 members. Donald Adler, the director, will announce the numbers to be played. The West Junior- High School's 30 -member band, will play two numbers - "Entrance "En-trance and March of the Peers, " and "Journeyman's Farewell." Norman H, Oliphant is director. direc-tor. The Roosevelt Junior High School band, directed by Julie Lyman, will play "Entrance and March of the Peers, " by Gilbert and Sullivan; two woodland wood-land sketches, "To A Wild Rose" and "To a Water Lily, " by Edward MacDowell; "Minuet and March From" The Socerer, " by Sir Arthur Sullivan. The 35-member band from Union High School will play "Antiphony, " by Lloyd Conley;" "Concert Overture, " by Robert Johnson; a march, "Onward, " by Ernest Luthold. Wayne Burke is band director. |
