Show ATTENDANCE GOOD AT GOLD AND GREEN BALL Despite several other activities. activi-ties. scheduled for March 26, which drained the expected attendance at the Duchesne Gold and Green Ball at Altamont, Alta-mont, the attendance was numerous, reports MIA officials. The Future Farmers of America convention in Salt Lake City and the Duchesne Debutantes1 trip to Idaho Falls, took a number of the young folk from the area. A group of men from the Bridgeland Ward sang the theme song, "In and Old Dutch Garden. " The Altamont and Moon Lake Wards combined to do a dance for the floor show; the ladies and the men from Bridgeland Ward danced a folk dance, wearing coordinated coordi-nated costumes. Walter Martin's orchestra played the theme and the dance music. |
