Show MEADOW. A. E. Gull, Chronicle Representative. Kiders Howard Bushnell and Alma Beckstrand occupied the time at last Sunday afternoon services. Stake Superintendent Jesse J. Bennett and Heber W. Beckstrand visited the M. I. A. at Kanosh last Sunday evening. Mr. Taylor of the Z. C. M. I. Hard ware Department of Salt Lake met with the Farmers' Club last Wednesday Wednes-day evening, giving renewed energy to our new water system, offering many timely suggestions and a new estimate on the kind and price of pipe to be used. The first work on our water system commenced Friday, and to the satisfaction of the people, much better headway Is being made than was expected. In the near future Meadow will boast of a first class water system of assure water as can be found in any locality, and sufficient to supply thousands of people, with ample power for electric lights, w hich will be the next step In our development develop-ment Mrs. Charlotte Gull and Jane Lab-rum Lab-rum received the sad news of the death of their eldest sister, Mrs. Sarah Spackman, of Farinington, Utah, who passed away January 21st. Her worthy husband having prececded her to the great beyond but three weeks. A number of our people, especially the young, are attending the Stake Quarterly Conference at Deseret, and expect to remain over for the Farmci V Institute. |
