Show MANY E FLOATS PROMISED FOB JULY I 1 parade will start from court house at ten seventy five miniature floats have been promised to the sevier stake primary for the fourth of july parade in richfield so without being optimists they plan on having at least fifty floats representing business houses and the various wards any individual who wishes to enter a float may do so and his or her cooperation will be appreciated floats may be entered either with mrs sarah hansen gardner or mrs jessie B poulson A voting contest is being conducted at a penny a vote in chii which 1 one boy and three girls from each of the richfield wards is entered the three girls having the highest number of votes will re represent p resent the goddess of liberty A miss ss utah and miss sevier and the boy with the to highest number of votes uncle sam those not winning will be attendants voting is being conducted d at the model mere alerc allens aliens catering and inc the lays days activities will start with the usual salute at daybreak day bieak and the hoisting of the colors at sunrise under auspices of battery E main alain bicet will be ap al decorated under direction of city marshal A 0 the parade p arade will start from the court house bouse for which purpose floats will gather on east second coith promptly at ten at eleven a patriotic program will be held either at the court house grounds or at the lyric A carnival in which five active concessions each with a sideshow will open immediately after the parade atthe Anona and will be continuous throughout the afternoon sports will be held near the armory beginning at two for which 50 in prizes will be given between six and seven in the evening swimming contests will be conducted at the natatorium for which prizes will be offered all in all the day prom promises aises to be outstanding in the history of july fourth celebrations in richfield complete details giving the hours a and nd other information for events will be announced next week |
