| Show lesion legion to conduct celebration a t elsinore july 4 under supervision of elsinore eldino post no 75 american legion P reparations preparations are under way for a real independence day celebration at elsinore A meeting of the organization was held in the town hau hall monday night with commander alfred madson in charge for the purpose of making detailed arrangements anti and to start the ball rolling A general committee was appointed with commander madson as chairman mr and mrs frederick bell mrs basil jensen and mr erastus madson as members the d days ays program will begin with the usual firing of guns at daybreak lay break and the hoisting of old glory at sunrise A patriotic program will lye be given at 10 a in at 2 p in some lively sports will take place followed by a ball game at 5 p in during the ball game there wll will be a dance for tile the children in the opera house for which the junior orchestra will play subcommittees sub committees will be appointed at once to assist in carrying out each phase of the work I 1 an invitation is extended to td neighboring towns on all sides to come and join elsinore in celebrating independence day |
