A Burlington young man, well known In legal circles there, gives an amusing account of his sensations while In a dentist's chair under the influence of gas. "Through a window In front of tho chair," he says, "I could seo a tall chimney. As tho dentist began to administer the gas, this chimney began be-gan to spin around, slowly at first, but gradually Increasing tho speed and size of Us revolutions until all I could see was a dizzy bluo. All of a sudden It stood still, then exploded with a crash, scattering bricks In every direction. Ono of them hit mo in tho head and I went to sleep. When I awoke tho dentist was standing stand-ing over mo with a glass of water in bis band. " 'Swallow it,' ho said. "'What,' I gasped, 'the brick?'" Newark (N. J.) News. |
