Show OVERTON". Andrew and Albert Jones have gone to St. George for flour. M. W. Gibson has been quite ill, but is getting around again. There has been quite a lot of travel north on the mail line lately. Bishop Jones has taken out over one hundred gallons of very fine honey. Some means have been received and forwarded to the Scofield sufferers. The weather is very fine, but have had heavy winds during the past two weeks. Lots of Mesquite and Bunkerville mail comes via Overton instead of St. George in error. Home missionaries William Gardner of Pine Valley and Arthur Bunker of Bunkerville were here last week. Sister Martha Cox and daughter were here in the interests of the Primary Pri-mary association and left with the missionaries. First crop of luoern cut and stacked. Some few patches of wheat are turning; the grain crops this year are better than for some years past. |
