The only problem seems to be a hole in the batter's box which could result in an injury to the players. Would it be possible for the grounds keeper to go one step further and try to keep the batter's box level in order to make it a little safer? Q. Thank you for your interest in and con-erwith the condition of the ball fields. I, am too, pleased with the efforts of the summer grounds keeping crew. They, try to keep the fields in the best possible playing condition to enhance both the enjoyment of the game and the players' safety. A n Air Force directives do not allow for government transportation in connection interviewing, processing, and orientation of prospective military recruits. This type of transportation is considered "Official Use. "Every effort should be made to avoid public criticism and the appearance of misuse. Each recruiter must use professional discretion to ensure the intent is not misconstrued. Stripewas swap box if a better location could QI wondering found for the stripe swap box located at the NCO Club? This is the only box I have found on base and there never seems to be any stripes in it whenever I have checked the box.. At other bases where I have been the box has been located in CBPO near customer service which proved to be a very successful location. S'? I Tin You are correct that the only stripe swap A box on base is located in the NCO Club, and I that it is not the best location for agree it. The Ogden ALC Senior Enlisted Advisor will seek a more appropriate and more centralized location for it. You will be informed of the new location as soon as it is finalized. Further, some enlisted groups on base will be asked to set up additional boxes for placement in unit orderly rooms and to help publicize and maintain these boxes. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Bicycle lane construction was my understanding they were to construct a bicycle lane oh Second Street this summer. What is the status of this project? Qlt This project is already through the A ning and design phase and is now out for bid to the contractors. The bid date is plan- opening Thursday. The contractor who is awarded this project may begin immediately on this particular phase of the project or may elect to wait until next spring to begin construction. It depends largely on the kind of weather we have this fall. Kudos for golf tournament I just had the pleasure of visiting your base for the AFLC golf tournament and would like to let you know that your MWR staff, particularly your golf staff, Wayne Volk and Mike Nash, hosted a golf tournament we are all going to talk about for a long. They went out of their way to make it the best tournament they possibly could. Their help, assistance and outstanding courtesy to all made the tournament good for all the golfers. I want you to know that you've got an excellent staff. Thank you very much for providing an excellent tournament for us. Cfcl AUTO REPAIR COUPON H 1 I R: fcv cia:Vi(H! Selection Quality Price ,: .
