Juab High School track team does well at BYU meet By Kirsten Trauntvein High Correspondent Juab Juab High School did favorably at a track meet held at BYU last Saturday, April 30th. The meet was held for schools throughout the state. Out of the 2A teams, Juabs boys maintained higher scores in many of the events. They did really well. There were very few schools that did as well as we did, said coach Gary 1A-3- A Nielson. Almost all members of the track team, boys and girls, received their personal bests in individual events. Yet, because over 40 schools attended the meet very few people qualified in the top six. With a top six placing, a track member automati cally qualified for the state meet without having to also qualify at the Region 12 tournament. The Region 12 track meet will be held in Grantsville on Saturday, May 7th, and will be free of cost to the spectators. Yesterday, meet for Juab hosted a the last meet before region finals. On Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, Juab will attend the State meet which will be held at BYU. A student bus will be going to the State meet on Friday; to sign up, check with Coach Owens at the high school. five-tea- Wednesday, May 4, 1994 Nephi, Utah '(Elye at Juab High Sqjqqi By Kirsten Trauntvein Juab High Correspondent Continued from page 6 Clean-u- p on May 14th erects two signs crediting the group for the litter control.
