Show LIEUT. GUSH , TELES OF VOYAGE Lieutenant Jl. C. Glasmann tells in the following letter to his wife of the quiet trip of his company overseas. This, Is one of the first letters from a member of tho 145th field nrtillery received re-ceived in Ogden. The letter is In part as - follows: "Guess you, are waiting, to hear all about the trip over. I can't say much except that the boat is plenty big enough to liold us without any of us having to hang over. All tho men under un-der me seem to be quite happy, not one seasick. Our quarters are fine and the ship officers are all fine fellows. fel-lows. The band plays a concert every afternoon and it certainly sounds fine. It stirs one to hear "The Stars and Stripes Forever." |
