B Y Academy at Provo The Professor y T sor had prepared a diagram on the board I dividing the subject ct into its different and sub sub divisions divisions and after r parts a thorough review of the whole plan each 5 division was taken up and thoroughly f explained All questions are presented r either orally or written and form a basis basist t of relation In regard to the subject f t they are ordinate co or sub t Questions on the basis of aims are of oft t two kinds and test the former is to draw a thought out and give birth to new ideas Its qualities are 1st The question should be adapted to the subject subject subject sub sub- and to the childs child's ability 2nd The meaning should be clear 3rd Freshness Freshness Fresh- Fresh k 17 ness or questions of a a. new kind are necessary Consecutiveness or pro one point drawing from another One question must be linked in meaning with the former A question of this kind searches deeply admits of no guess answer but aims at but one complete reply The direction of question is from the does know to the should know Test questions are directed from the II should know to the does know and are the kind used in all examinations etc They should be clear and to the point they should search for information and the ability to think and to express ones one's self The Professor Profess r treated the subject in an able manner and was listened to with much attention especially by the to whom the subject was of much interest Prof Brimhall was tendered a hearty vote of thanks by the society At the opening of the meeting Miss sang in her usual delightful manner and Mr Dunyon followed the lecture with 3 one of his fine piano selections u G |
