Show T TT F LITERARY J Z Jl Sonnet One day we climbed the mountain she and I To where pale lilies bloomed near banks of snow And all the fair green valley lay below A world of light and song beneath the sky Of deepest blue and crystal streams did flow In joyous laughter down the mountain side Till on the plain their voices voices hushed they glide As still and silently as our two souls In our pure stream of love united seemed To away without a sound or sigh Into the mystic l land md of which we dreamed But now a mist upon the mountain rolls Its sombre shroud een to its summit high high high- j She is not here How sad the days go by W.
