The Milford Realty Company, with its usual push and enterprise, has been quite busy, lately, showing prospective prospect-ive buyers over various properties. Murdock, the efficient assistant assist-ant in the County Recorder's office, and the NEWS Beaver correspondent, was a caller at this office yesterday. Jorgensen has received a card from his cousin, Sargeant Jorgensen of Troop G, Utah Cavalry, in whieh the Sargeant states tb,a H "the boys" are well aij eojoying camp life. Mriyn Smithson is also a member of this troop. Mn. H. A. Moore and Mrs. AdeocJl were hostesses at a "surprise, shawsr," Tuesday afternoon m honor of Mrs. P. W, PuWtt. The participants met at the home of Mrs. Larue Duffln, and later bad a social time in the band-some band-some home of Mrs. P. W. Dufin. Many beautiful giftB were received by the honoree. The NEWS has received details of the death of young eiiuedy Cody, son of C. H. Cadjf, formerly station Sigeftv in Milford., which sad event rollowad. an accident to the young man at Helper, on the 12th instant. It appears that the lad, who was nineteen nine-teen years of age and a student at the Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, had been assisting bis father in the station at Helper during hu vacation. On the day he met his death, he had run out to a passing caboose to get some freight bills, and in trying to board the car, had been thrown under the wheels and both legs and one arm cut off, A speoial train for Salt Lake was ' made up to rush the injured young I man to a hospitall but at Thistle death ensued. The boy's father saw the accident which resulted in his son's death and both he and the mother were prostrated by the terrible catastrophe. catas-trophe.
