Manager Brent Huish said the new daily rate approach charges 50 cents per day, a slight increase over the old average rate of 48 'h cents per day, reflecting the average usage of 263 gallons of water daily. Any usage over this minimum will be calculated into the bills, which will reflect exactly the number of days the water and sewer service was used, he explained. Huish went on to say that although the days may vary from billing to billing, customers will receive only one bill per month. The district is trying to minimize inconveninece to customers during the transition, he stressed.
