Career Day activities at Oquirrh Hills elementary as students are invited to choose between 21 demonstrations offered by members of the community from various areas of the world of work. Students in the upper grades may select six of the classes, said spokesman Rosemary West. Included will be sessions discussing work in the postal service, arm- food services, cosmetics, art, pilots, metallurgists, flower arrangements and quilting. A kickoff assembly will feature speakers Donald Wright of BICEP, Andy Waits of V95 FM Radio and Jeff Judkins, former NBA basketball player. BICEP will also present a vehicle demonstration with big trucks of many kinds on site for the students to see.
