Show OAK CJTY. W. R. Walker, Chronlcl Representative. Representa-tive. Miss Jane Rawllnson and mother have returned from Clear Lake, where Miss Jane has been the past winter teaching school. A. J. Henry of Oasis wss here last week looking over the lund to be opened on the 23rd under the Smoot act. Sunday two buggy loads of men from Salt Lake were here looking for land. Judging from the number of people who have tx'cn looking for land, the desert laying along the road between here and Holden will be a gre at grain field In a few years. Heef. cattle and bos continue to be marketed out of Oak City. Kvery bunch means a good sum of money to the farmers. Tho other day a young man was asked how h liked the steam orchestra or-chestra at Iamington. He replied that It was all right, but It played so loud he could not talk to the girls. No doubt this will be a good thing during the summer months, as the air In the building will be mudt cooler (?). Peace Sunday was observed last Sunday. YV. R. Walker, E. L.
