Show HINCKLEY. Ceo. E. Billings, Chronicle Representative. Representa-tive. Still the wind blows and real estate Is flying high around Hinckley. It Is raising continually. The emigrants who landed at Ilurtner Ilurt-ner last Sunday were over looking at the possibilities offered to new settlers here. Did not hear them comment about our town, but It could not help Impressing them for the good, as it was a verv jjf;.;t ijay,. . , ( The stork visited the home of Will-lam Will-lam II. Denlson last Saturday and left a bouncing girl. Mother and baby doing do-ing nicely and father very proud. Messrs. Cushman and Stout, managers man-agers of the brick yard, Inform us that they have plenty of good brick on hand and should be glad to figure with you for the brick you will use In erecting your new home. William Camp Is going to build a cement block cottage In Hinckley this summer. The plans are already drawn and It Is open for bids. A. P. Wallace began work on his contract to build a house for Richard Parker, who Is going to build near J. P. Mecham's In Hinckley. William Curtis has a new home nearly completed on First West and North streets. It Is a frame cottage nearly erected. .ledeillah Cox has moved his family up from St. George. We are glad to see sunny south people moving our way. Since school Is out and the track meet over there Is no so many people roaming around town. Wo didn't think the students made any difference to our population, but we certainly miss them now they are not with us. Mr. J. H. Turner of Murray has taken one of our young ladies to Salt Lake. They will go through the Salt Lake temple next week and then Will lie at home in Murray, Utah. Their friends gave them a shower last Saturday Sat-urday evening. Our baseball club has reorganized and will now accept challenges from any team In the county for a game or games. Speak up, now, Oak City, the track meet is over. |
