Show : local notes: Mr. and Mrs. David L. Bills had as dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Goodrich and family of Union and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bills and family. Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin entertained entertain-ed at No. 1 Fire hall at a lovely stork shower in honor of Mrs. Kenneth Moore on Thursday evening, ev-ening, January 17. Bingo was played and dainty refreshments were served to 24. Mrs. Moore received many lovely gifts. Lorraine Tobiason R. N. is leaving soon to take a special training course in polio therapy in California. The course is sponsored spon-sored jointly by the Foundation for Infantile Paralysis and Salt Lake General hospital. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tory Tobiason of Copperton. Pinochle club met Tuesday evening in Copperton as guests of Mrs. It. L. Cunliffe. Mrs. Ray Tatton was an invited guest. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Tory Tobiason, Mrs. George Geo-rge Dahlstrom and Mrs. Frank Zaccaria. Tasty refreshments were served to ten. Lady Eagles met last Thursday Thurs-day night as guests of Mrs. Peter Smith of Copperton. A business meeting was held after which contract bridge was played. Prizes Pri-zes were won by Mrs. H. R. Gust, Mrs. Gene Goff and Mrs. Carl Nichols. Mrs. Goff also won the bingo prize. Lovely refreshments were served. |
