Show BMA FLASHES by Jim Abplanalp Miners Meet Smelieriies; Host Buffaloes Tuesday! Bingham high school's rampaging ram-paging Miners, fresh from a 64-44 64-44 victory over the highly rated Judge Memorial quint, travel to Murray tonight, seeking their third win. The locals lost the opening league tussle to Cyprus, then edged Grantsville and turned back Judge for a 2 to 1 margin. Judge earlier downed the Pirates, Pir-ates, so on a basis of comparative compara-tive improvement, the locals look like a strong contender for loop honors again. Coach Allsop has found a formidable starting lineup, line-up, and reserves are ample. The jBingnam courtiers are not expecting ex-pecting any easy wins, and if hustle means anything, the Miners Min-ers will be right in the thick of things. Murray is always rough on their home court, so it will be a battle. Next Tuesday night the local five plays host to the leading Tooele crew at Copperton. Games Gam-es will start at 7:00 and 8:00 pm. Please have your BDAA cards ready or obtain them at the door. ALLEY ANGLES Blast me hide! But these local ten-pin 'nuts', just don't know when to ease up. Five men in one night over the 600 mark, and 200 games too numerous to mention. men-tion. There they go, bustin' the pins all up, and hardly enough to go around as it is. Wee Lopez is going to have to buy a whole set alone if he keeps up his hot pace. Wee burned down 675 pins to top the field, with games of 204, 248, 223. Close behind was Mick Callisto with 642, most of 'em on a rousing 268 game. The also-rans were J. Abplanalp, 629, Joe Harker 623 and G. Sluga 603. Might mention that five or six other keglers were around 190 average for the nite. Team No. 3 stayed well out front by taking all 4 points from No. 6. Team No. 7 stayed in runner-up position by copping 4 from No. 2. Team 8 remained third with 3 wins over No. 4 and No. 1 took 3 of 4 from Team 5.
