Pinochle club met Tuesday evening in Copperton as guests of Mrs. It. L. Cunliffe. Mrs. Ray Tatton was an invited guest. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Tory Tobiason, Mrs. Geo-rge Dahlstrom and Mrs. Frank Zaccaria. Tasty refreshments were served to ten. Lady Eagles met last Thurs-day night as guests of Mrs. Peter Smith of Copperton. A business meeting was held after which contract bridge was played. Pri-zes were won by Mrs. H. R. Gust, Mrs. Gene Goff and Mrs. Carl Nichols. Mrs. Goff also won the bingo prize. Guest speak-er was Dr. Garth Edmunds who gave an interesting illustrated lecture on cause and treatment of cancer. A good attendance was present. Regular classes were held after which they all adjour-ned to the amusement hall where songs were sung under the di-rection of Mrs. Virginia Seal and Mrs. Jessie 'Nielsen and Robert Graham spoke on the correct and incorrect way of speaking, and the drama department portrayed "Little Red Riding Hood" under the direction of Mrs. Donna Bar-dsley. v Concluding the evening's program was a dance with Carol Steel.
