The Bingham-Judge game which was played last Friday night at Judge Memorial was one which was truly enjoyed by all the fans in attendance as may well be seen by the final outcome which read 64-44 in favor fa-vor of Bingham. The win put the Miners in second place in Jordan Jor-dan division. Bingham vi Murray At Murray Tonight Friday, tonight, the Miners will travel to Murray to play the Smelterites in their gym. A game packed with enjoyment is assured as-sured this evening, so if you would like to spend a pleasant evening, support the team and go to Murray to back up the team. Miners Play Tooele . Her Tuesday Night Tooele plays at Bingham this coming Tuesday at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Thiif game offers an enjoyable enjoy-able time to everyone who is in attendance, so don't miss out 'on this exciting game. Traveling Assembly Bingham high's traveling assembly as-sembly was presented at Cyprus and Murray today. The assembly is about some Bingham troopers in flight to Murray to present an assembly when the plane becomes becom-es fogbound and lands at the Golden Gate in Heaven where St. Peter greets them, and after a short delay directs them on their way. Snow Carnival Well Attended The "Snow Carnival" was truly tru-ly a successful dance. It was held last Friday night at 8 o'clock in the gym for all junior high students. stu-dents. Music was by Clarice Bergman and company and was certainly enjoyed by the crowd at the dance. There was a large attendance, and everyone .had a wonderful time, so perhaps these dances will be a part of the year's program from now on. School Year Passes Halfway Mark Half of the year has passed now, and report cards were distributed dis-tributed Wednesday to the students. stu-dents. Some were very pleased with the cards' appearance, but others were well, better luck next time. Girls' Sports The Girls Inter-Murals are really going strong now. Yes, every morning a group of girls go to school on the early bus to play among the classes in the various tournaments that are going go-ing on now. The junior high is now playing a single round robin ro-bin in catch ball, and the senior high girls are playing volleyball. Miss Virginia Harris is supervisor super-visor of these girls' activities, and she certainly has obtained a program that has truly proven to be a lot of fun, as well as helping the girls to get to know the girls in the other grades a lot better, thus forming a better school unity. |
