Show Mount Pleasant Pi Pioneer neer Is Dead Deac MT PLEASANT Feb 11 11 Oscar Oscar Barton 84 pioneer resident of Mount Moun Pleasant and Indian war veter veteran died at the family home Tue Tuesday day evening eve ning following a brief briet illness Mr Barton was born October 29 1847 in Iowa He came to Utah in 1848 with his parents settling in Boun Boun- The family came to Mount Pleasant in 1861 He was married October 30 1868 to Emmeline Seely He had been active in church and civic organizations He was first counselor to Bishop Jefferson Jefferson Jef- Jef ferson Tidwell of at Indianola from rom 1878 to 1883 Surviving is his widow and two sons W W. 0 O. Barton Sterling Canada and J. J C. C Barton of at Mount Pleasant one daughter Mrs Leonard Frandsen Mt 1 Pleasant a brother S. S A.
