Nine couples from Leamington took advantage of the opportunity to learn square dancing Saturday evening in Lynndyl. The next class will .be held in Leamington Dec. 6 Josiah Nielson has been seriously seri-ously ill the past week. His son, Kello, has been home with him the past few days. Mrs. Reuben Jones and Deroy drove up from Milford Sunday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Walker Finlinson. Russell and Scott Lee Finlinson returned to Milford to spend Thanksgiving with their grandmothe.-. Mrs. Ronald Nielson is staying here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson, while her husband hus-band gets settledin the army at Fort Ord, California. Mrs. Rulon Dutson received a call from her son, Elwood, from Seattle Saturday slaying he was leaving for the Far East with Korea as the destination. Seven Explorer Scouts from Leamington will receive their Silver Sil-ver awards Saturday night lat the Court of Honor at Delta. A banquet ban-quet before the program is being prepared by the officers of the various wards. The program and banquet are open to the pblic and all are invited to attend. The Silver Sil-ver award is the highest award in Explorer Scouting. |
