L Dowding a pioneer of 1866 died at his home near Sandy Thursday In his seventy fifth year Funeral services ser s will be held in the Sandy First ward chapel Sun Sunday afternoon at 1215 o'clock and interment Interment interment inter Inter- ment will be In the Sandy tery Mr 1 Dowding was born In England In 1850 and came to Utah with his parents in 1866 in Captain William H. H company The family settled in the Sandy district and Dowding spent the remainder of ot his life there Surviving are his widow Mrs s. Henrietta Dowding and the following following follow follow- ing children David L L. LJames James and I Arthur of ot Salt Lake Raymond and Blanche of Sandy Mrs Sarah Sarah Sarah-J. J Jaynes Crescent Mrs Maud Smith and Mrs Etta Waltham Waltham Wal Wal- tham Murray and thirty one grandchildren and seven great great- grandchildren
