Show AAA Outlines 1938 Provisions On Acreage to Guide Winter Wheat Farmers Winter wheat producers and other farmers who grow fall-sown crops were advised by the Agricultural Adjustment administration today to take account of the probable provisions provi-sions of the 1938 Agricultural Conservation Con-servation Program in making their plans for plantings this corning fall. In anticipation of provision for soil-depleting soil-depleting acreages in the 1038 pro- gram lower than the soil-depleting j acreages in 1937, AAA officials suggested sug-gested seedings of soil-depleting crops of not to exceed 80 percent of the 1937 soil-depleting base acreages. acre-ages. Although keeping seedings to 80 per cent of the 1937 soil-depleting base should qualify most farmers in 1938, individual farmers who have large percentages of their crop land in soil-depleting bases, or farmers in areas where land may be designated desig-nated for restoration of native vege- tation, Mich as parts of the Great ' Plains Region, will need to malic h j greater adjustment in order to meetr the requirements of the program.
