Show LEAMINGTON. Alma Harder, Representative. On Washington's birthday the school gave an entertainment at tho meetinghouse meeting-house under the supervision of our able teachers Miss Surah Prlestwlch and l.uella Mlckelson. Kveryone present were well satisfied with the performance. perform-ance. Several from Leamington attended Mutual conference at Kanosh. Illshop R. II. Ashby, Mutual President; Louis Nielson, President of the Y. L. A.; Mable J. Oversou, Miss Lydla Stout, Jed Watts and Alma llared attended. It was a long cold journey, but all expressed ex-pressed themselves as having an excellent ex-cellent time. Clark Roper of Oak City and some of our citizens were busy last week putting up phone lines, so now our good sisters can stay at home and gossip. Watch Leamington grow. Miss Kl-verda Kl-verda Anderson atid her brother, John W. Anderson, are going to build a largo gymnasium and dancing hall. The dimensions di-mensions are 84 x 50 inside; a stage will be built at one end and a first-class maple floor laid down. Most of the material has arrived and the work has been commenced. The hall will he finished for the May conference which will be held here. Everybody come and have a good dance In Leamington. Leam-ington. Kmil Anderson will soon have the roof on his new dwelling. John Johnson, John-son, Kmll Johnson and Joseph Over-son Over-son commenced building this week. Twice during the last month I have been away when I Bhould have written to the Chronicle, and the other two times I have been too busyNj write.
