Alex Melvell of Salt Lake City was in Oak City a few days ago on official blislness. Without doubt the best game of basket ball ever enjoyed In Oak City was that between Oak City nnd the M. S. Acndemy of Hinckley. A number num-ber of rooters accompanied the team and also a crowd of young people came over from Leamington. We welcome them all and hope they will come ngaln. We will try and show them a good time. Tho game was fast from the start, the Academy taking the lead and holding It throughout the game. At the end of the first half the score stood 21 to 10 In favor of the Academy. The Oak City boys came back strong In the second half, playing the visitors to a stand-still. The second half ended 14 to 14, the final score being 35 to 24 In favor of the Academy. The Oak City boys were rough and many fouls were called on them.
