Show Bobettes Take State Second Panguitch High School's Bobettes Bob-ettes missed the top slot in state drill competition by only the slimmest margin Saturday, bringing bring-ing mixed emotions of pride and disappointment to the girls and their hardworking advisors for the second place win. The pride and joy of Panguitch Pan-guitch at 857 total points were only one-and-one-half points behind be-hind the first spot Piute team, an emotional loss but a score to brag about for years to come. The Bobettes placed first in novelty, recognized for their outstandingly out-standingly creative giraffe routine, rou-tine, in costumes designed by advisors ad-visors Marlene Miller and Monica Mon-ica Tebbs and executed by devoted team mothers. Their second place win for dance.was only three points behind be-hind the winner and their second place props win with its striking black and white and silver colors and first place. Their props were created by Afton Julander. Their every-day-practices paid off with a performance to remember re-member and lots of support from excited family members and a proud Panguitch community.
