Show BSX5X5SXSXS5X!SXSXSXSSX3 NEOLA EXSX5555X2XSXSS25 Funeral for Twin Baby Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gardner became be-came the proud parents of twin boys at the Roosevelt hospital, but their joy was turned to sadness sad-ness when death came to one of them a few hours after birth. Funeral services were held at the home of Bishop Gardner last Tuesday afternoon. Seminary Students Present Program H. Bartley Heiner and several of his Seminary students presented present-ed a very interesting program in Sacrament meeting last Sunday. Mrs. Heiner accompanied the group. Primary Conference Held Neola Primary Conference was held last Sunday evening with the following stake officers in attendance: Erma Gines, Helen Hel-en Colton, Helen Wiscombe, Phyllis Wardle. A well-prepared program was presented by the children. Town Waier-Supply Cleaned The Neola school had an enforced en-forced vacation part of last week when the town water was shut off during the cleaning of the tank. It was thoroughly cleaned and cemented and is in better condition than it has ever been. Mr. and Mrs. George Pierson, who recently sold their farm to Mr. Sprouse, left last week for Colorado to look for a new location. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Max Gardner were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kettle of Ballard and Mr. and Mrs. Omar Secrest of Moab. Mrs. Secrest is the former Elsie Kettle, a sister of Mrs. Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. William South and two children from Oklahoma Okla-homa have moved into the John Burgess home.. Miss LuElla Olsen and Miss Berniece Palfreyman of Roosevelt Roose-velt were Sunday guests at the Roy Gardner home. Mrs. Burt Bacon and children of Mont' Well were Sunday visitors visi-tors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Duncan. Mrs. Alice P. Cook and two sons returned from Los Vegas, Nevada to stay in Neola for the duration. Mr. Cook was transferred trans-ferred to Keesler Field, Miss. Mrs. F. P. Whitmore, Ada Hut-cheon Hut-cheon and Ruth Jensen attended Girl's day at the Roosevelt High school last Friday. In the evening even-ing several of the young lady students from Neola escorted the boy -of their choice to the dance and picture show in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Glen Kimball and Dean Mitchell Mit-chell left Sunday for Springville to work-for W. W. Clyde. Mrs. Dean Oberhansley has returned home from the L D S hospital in Salt Lake City much improved. During her stay there her mother, Mrs. Gurr took care of her young baby. Mrs. Violet and Louise Mills spent a few days in Salt Lake City, Ogden and Springville. Fred Oberhansley. who is em- ployed at Clearfield, soent the week end here with home folks. Miss Zina Mecham and daughter, daugh-ter, Glenna of Springville, spent the week end here visiting relatives. rela-tives. Miss Anna Stark visited the Neola school last Monday. Lora Smithson entertained a number of little friends at her home last Friday afternoon the occasion being her eleventh birthday. After the party the young folks attended the picture show, |
