Show Fish and Game Club Organized At Altamont - With Three Clubs Ifl Duchesne County, Working Together, Better Fishing and Hunting Should Delop Duchesne county is now one of the foremost counties of the state in organizations promoting Fish and Game conservation. Last week there was organized at Altamont the third of its kind in the county, known as the "Yellowstone Fish and Game club, the other two ate the Duchesne Du-chesne Fish and Game and Roosevelt Wildlife Conservation clubs. With these three clubs organized organ-ized and properly functioning much good can be expected providing pro-viding they all work in unity. The Yellowstone Fish and Game elected the following sportsmen: LaForge Dastrup, president; Les Pearson, vice-president; vice-president; Toney , Brandon, secretary-treasurer. The club has already 100 members mem-bers and expects to increase it to 200 within a short time. President Presi-dent Dastrup states that the club has several projects in view and the membefs are determined to complete each and every one of them before the year is over. Mr. Dastrup and vice president Pearson made a trip to Salt Lake City last Saturday in order or-der to contact the state commission commis-sion to see if they could secure some fish to be planted in Lake Fork river below the Altonah-Mt. Altonah-Mt. Home road. They also made a trip to the Whiterocks Fish Hatchery. |
