Camp HOI5BLE ( KEEK CAMP F-80 Springville, Utah Camp F-30 at Springville enjoyed en-joyed a very interesting program on- August 22nU which was furnished furn-ished by the Young Men's Democratic Demo-cratic and Republican clubs of Utah county. Pres. John Clark, of American Fork, of the Democratic Demo-cratic club, and Pres. Sherman Christensen of Provo, of the Republican Re-publican club, each gave a very interesting talk to .the boys of the camp. The following program was presented in support of the lectures: Vocal solo. Miss Agnes Hales, accompanied by Miss Helen Hales; vocal solo, Blaine Swenson, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Helen Hales; vocal solo .and saw solo, Gilbert Y. Johnson, accompanied by Jack Davis. The program was well attended and enjoyed by all present. ccc E. C. Hinckley of the first aid department of the Columbia Steel corporation of Ironton, gave some very interesting instructions to the enrollees of the camp regarding regard-ing the use of first aid equipment. Weekly meetings are held in camp each Wednesday evening along this line of study. ccc Anyone interested in wild life in Utah might make a visit to our camp and see the full grown deer which has become very tame and makes a visit to the camp every few days. This deer is so tame that it is possible to walk up to it and scratch its ears. This is something quite different than usually happens when one meets a member of the deer family- ccc Here's a new one on the men. We find so much talk about the women not being able to keep their mouth closed, for talking, but we have one fellow that talked talk-ed so much that a bee flew into his mouth and stung him on the tongue. This seems the only way to keep him quiet so we suggest sug-gest that to the husband that is troubled with a talkutivc wife, to import a hive of trained oees if you want relief. ccc The sub-camp which lias been located in Payson canyon moved it's headquarters to Diamond Fork canyon on Sunday, Aug. TiGth. The work to be completed 1 there will connect the load now being constructed in Hobble Creek canyon with the road in Diamond Fork canyi.n making a short cut through to Strawberry valley. L. K.
