The craft ran into a bank of thick fog, however, and was compelled to : make a landing on the French coast. , The Journey, it is announced, will be continued. The distance to Delhi is some thing more than 5700 miles. This machine was originally assigned to bomb Berlin. It measures 127 feet from wing tip to wing Up and weighs, with fuel and passengers, about 27,000 pounds. It can make eighty miles an hour and can carry 1200 gallons of petrol, sufficient for a flight of nearly sixteen hours.
