Show NEW BUICK MODELS TAKEJPUBLIG EYE Sedans and Touring Cars Receiving Attention of Motor Fans. The new 191 S series "H" Buicks, which recently made their debut before the Salt Lake public; are continuing to attract the Interest and favorable attention of local motorists, according to an official of the RandaU-Dodd Auto company, dealers ' in Buick and NationaJ passenger cars and GMC trucks. He states that the 1919 models embrace em-brace the same fundamental engineering principles as their predecessors, to which have been added a number of improvements improve-ments as a result of the past year's experience ex-perience and research. Some of these changes w-ere designed to make the new Buicks even more than ever -before admirably ad-mirably suited for serviceable use the year around. For instnnee, the oil -circulating pump of the Valve-In-Head motor is so constructed con-structed that it can be operated successfully success-fully in the most severe climates. This is made possible by a self-thawing device, de-vice, which, in case there is water in tho oil, causing the pump to freeze up in cold weather, automatically thaws it out quickly, thus eliminating the possi-bilitv possi-bilitv of injurv to the pump. The motor of the 1919 Buick is automatically lubricated lubri-cated throughout. The new Buick 6edans, which are especially espe-cially popular just now, are made with -a view to giving service the year around. The front seat, instead of being divided, is full width, giving additional roominess to passengers and providing an extra brace to the body, which adds considerably consider-ably to its stability. This arrangement makes the Buick sedan eligible for any. service an open car is used for, with the added utility and comfort that belong exclusively ex-clusively to the closed car. For summer driving, the plate-giass door windows may be lowered by means of a r;?w patented mechanical device, so that the closed Buicks are just he- comfortable com-fortable in warm as in cold weather. The open models of the series "H" Buicks will undoubtedly continue to be popnlar as all-season cars. There is an added snugness to the top and side curtains, cur-tains, which mukes them more comfortable com-fortable than ever during the days of driving sleet and piercing winds. All six of the new Buick models have the same mechanical features, including the Valve-in-head motor, always associated asso-ciated with the name Buick; automatic lubrication, and the practically complete elimination of noise. The Randall-Dodd Auto company desires de-sires to announce that the series "H" Buicks are now on exhibition in the salesrooms sales-rooms at 53 West Fourth South. Since the present supply is limited, with the prospects of replenishing it very uncertain, uncer-tain, it Is advised that prospective buyers place their orders at once. |
