Fire Chief Ward Secrist said one of his men, Bob Lund, even wound up in the hospital with a broken shoulder. It is expected the firemen will file charges with the Utah Attorney Generals office. Chief Secrist said that if Lund had not been injured in the first inning the outcome would have been different. He said his loss was felt deeply by the fire crew. He was one of the few firemen who could catch the ball. 35-- 5 Diving Try Lund broke his shoulder diving for a ball hit by the very first batter in the game. The northern county team travels to Logan Friday at 2:45 p.m. to play Logan Junior High on the Logan High school field. Logan carries wins over South Cache and Box Elder freshmen into the test. Goodliffe is an amateur and Williams is the professional at the local municipal course. The Utah Gold association sponsors the matches between the states leading amateurs and pros.
