Not even the chairman of Eunices family may be enough to help him. As far as Ronald Reagan is concerned on the Republican side, I somehow cant get interested in a man as president who might show up on the late, late show. Poor President Ford will have his troubles too. Honest though he may be I am reminded of the words of Paul Claudell who said, Most statesmen have long noses. But I suppose that is very lucky because most of them cannot see further than the length of them, so that a statesman with a short nose is handicapped by nature. So there you have my opinion of the political scene so far.Now if youll pull up that easy chair Id like to discuss something more in my line, like what has been drifting over the Party Line wires the past few days.
