Janet Boss of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Linda Bowman and sons Richard and David of Lewiston spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Wood. Temple wedding unites Garlandite, SLC bride and son Dell also visited Mrs. by Flo Mumon Lynette Houskeeper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Grant Houskeeper of Salt Lake City became the bride of Steven C. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leedrow Anderson of Garland Sept. 19. The wedding took place in the Salt Lake Temple in the presence of immediate members of both families and a few close friends. A wedding breakfast followed at the restaurant Grandmother's House and included 54 relatives and friends. That evening a lovely garden the honoring reception newlyweds was held at the home of the brides grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John W. Oldham in Salt Lake City. Pamela Anderson was one of the bridemaids. Enjoying a luncheon with Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Westergard Wednesday morning were Mr. and Mrs. Mel Hollingworth of The Lake Salt City. Hollingworths were enroute on vacation to Sun Valley. Mrs. Margaret Nelson of Redmond, Utah is visiting her and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Leedrow Anderson and family. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Westergard Thursday were Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Mrs. Mary Udy accompanied her sister Mrs. Emma Darley and her daughter Mrs. Renae Labeau of Logan to Grace, Idaho last Sunday where they attended a homecoming testimonial for Elder Blake Matthews who had just returned from a California LDS mission. The bride is from Grace, Idaho. Hartman Rector officiated at the doublering ceremony. That evening Mrs. Mary Udy accompanied college at Vancover, BC. In observance of his day. Others present were his mother, Mrs. Owen Nielsen, his sisters, Naralie and Kelley, his Mrs. Reed grandmother, Nielsen, his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielsen, another aunt. Mrs. Gary Cannon and his cousins, Darron, Dustin and of Cortney North Ogden. Wedding Ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall were among those who attended the wedding ceremony uniting Miss Cameron Coombs and Craig Webb at the Logan LDS Temple Saturday. They also attended the dinner honoring the couple at the Sky Room on the USU campus following the ceremony. Many Portage people attended the reception honoring the couple that evening at Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morris visited at Hansel Valley with Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Hupp and family Saturday. Other guests of the Hupps were Mr. and Mrs. James Yarman and family of Clearfield.
