Show Panguitch Nws By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 It was good to receive a Panguitch City newsletter from the city office. Many who can't get to the city council meetings, so it's a great way to know about changes and progress that is taking place such as sewer systems, sign ordinances, ordi-nances, community cleanup, etc. Many thanks to the Veterans organizations or-ganizations for their work on the Veterans Memorial. Especially for collecting junk cars to crush as a fund raiser. Just getting rid of the old cars is a praise worthy project. There is nothing pretty about old cars rusting aWay on streets and lots and inspite of snow storms, now spring, the tourist season and Centennial celebrations are close. The streets will look much better. Jack and Marlyn Soper are back among us, Jack working for the Extension office .since the retirement retire-ment of Verl Matthews. Welcome home! Alfild Josie is home from her yearly visit with her folks in Norway. Tara Excell and Janae Klein received re-ceived their Young Womens Recognition awards in the Panguitch LDS Third Ward. D'Lynn Poll and Clark Howard, Panguitch LDS Stake visitors and Onalisa Williams,' youth speaker delivered inspirational messages on "prayer" and the "Sabbath Day" as did the Primary children. Here with Jay and Dudly Proctor were Arlin and Ann Proctor and their children Ashley, Ben, Jared and Holly. |
