Atherley PANGUITCH Kaibab employees em-ployees and their partners were once again honored by the company's compa-ny's Annual Service Awards Banquet, held this year on Feb. 29 at Foster's Steak House at Bryce. The group celebrated 640 years of combined service ranging from 5 years up to 40 years per employee, honoring both their 1995 and 1996 contingents. A prime rib feast with Foster's famous sauteed mushrooms, was the fare for the evening, with the service awards given out following dinner. A special honor was presented to Alfred Dodson and Stewart presented High Q Lumber Grader awards to both in behalf of Western Wood Products for their 95-percent 95-percent correct performance during the past year. Kaibab Honors Employees At Its Annual Service Awards Banquet Robinson, Hi-Q Lumber Graders for Kaibab who were recognized by the Western Wood Products Association of Portland, Ore. The men were honored for their outstanding out-standing capacity to grade lumber, as they were right on target 95 of the time this past year. Each was checked at least a dozen times throughout the year by inspectors from WWP. Plant Manager Ted Atherly presented the awards. Service awards were presented to: 40 years, Mack Esplin; 35 years, John M. Henrie, LaNard Johnson, Ted Atherley, Devon Owens, Kurt Brinkerhoff; 30 years, Francis Porter, Gib Clark; 25 years, Rodney Barker, Edgar Dunham and Tony Tisi; 20 years, Claude LeFevre, Wallace Veater, Ricky J. Crofts, Herbert Haskie, Stewart Robinson, James Tisi and Marion Littlefield; 15 years, John Hughes, E. mike Owens, Mike Hatch, Irving Madson; 10 years, Charles Cooper, Duarie Sawyer, Belinda Hunter, Marty Spendlove and Kenneth Homer and 5 years, Kevin Homer, Neki Hajrulla, Ken Hepworlh, Val Begay, William Hooper, Josh Brown, Steve Floyd and Glen Brown. Kaibab extends a special thank you to the folks at Foster's for their efforts to make this annual dinner such a special night out on the town and evening of recognition. |
