A special meat loaf with squares of cheese baked into the loaf, is extra nutritious and delicious either hot or cold. Sliced cold with the cheese squares distributed through the meat makes a delicious sandwich. FERN BRYDEN usually makes the entire recipe but one loaf is plenty for a small family, so she freezes one loaf and bakes it when it is needed. need-ed. She likes to use milk for the liquid and bread crumbs or the seasoned dressing bread crumbs for an extra flavor. MEAT LOAF WITH CHEESE 2 lbs. hamburger 2 eggs, beaten 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. celery salt 3 cups milk 114 cups diced cheese 1 onion, chopped 1 tsp. pepper Vi tsp. paprika 1 cup bread crumbs or seasoned dressing crumbs MIX ALL ingredients well. Fern likes to use her hands, but mix with a spoon if desired. Pour into two greased pans, pushing the mild cheddar cheese into the meat. The pans can be lined with foil if you prefer. Bake at 275 degrees for three hours or at 350 degrees for 1 hours. If you want to bake the frozen loaf, bake at 350 degrees for about three hours. Each loaf serves about six good slices. A.J.
