Show TUCKER SPEAKS ON ARMISTICE Springville Observes Day With Conjoint Program at High School. Armistice day was fittingly observed ob-served in Springville Tuesday afternoon after-noon with a conjoint program given by the citizens and high school students stu-dents at the high school auditorium. A large number of residents were present and filled the auditorium to overflowing. The program was given under the direction of a special committee appointed ap-pointed by city council consisting of G rover Clyde, chairman, AVilliam N. Grooms and Elmo ('off man. Mr. Clyde acted ns master of ceremonies cere-monies and the invocation was offered of-fered by the Rev. W. II. Ensign. Musical selections were rendered by the high school orchestra under the direction of Melvine Done and a Indies quartet from the high school after which a short address wns made by Mayor G. K. Maycock. Elmo Coffman sang a solo, "The Americans Come" and the principal address was made byl Judge J. B. Tucker of Provo. The program concluded con-cluded with a selection from tho high school double male quartet. |
