Show 18 HILL hill's best TOP TIMES November 13, 1987 Outstanding tenant, family get involved Sixteen enlisted servicemembers at Hill AFB reached a personal mile stone Oct. 29 when they were presented their Community College of the Air Force degrees. They received their associate of applied science degrees at a formal ceremony held at the Thornton Recreation Center. Brig. Gen. Charles E. Fox Jr., Ogden Air Logistics Center vice commander, made the presen- tations. Guest speaker was CMSgt. David E. Hall, 388th Tactical Fighter Wing senior enlisted adviser. "Your CCAF degree is a golden opportunity for meaningful secondary education," he told the graduates. "It can lead into a quicker promotion." Others attending the ceremony included Col. Ralph B. Praeger, center director of personnel, the graduates' commanders and first sergeants and the graduates' spouses. Those graduates who received their degrees were: MSgt. Fletcher got his instructor in technology degree; TSgt. Timothy M. Lee in disaster preparedness technology; and Sgt. Steven M. McCoy in resource management. SSgt. Brian R. Johns, of the 1881st Communications Squadron, got his electronic systems technology degree.
